Transcribathon
Throughout the month of March you can take part in the Women’s History Transcribe Run. From 1 March, choose one of the letters or diaries written by women across Europe in a language you know well, and type up their handwritten texts so that more people can enjoy and learn from them. You earn points for every transcription you complete. You can also get points for reviewing existing transcriptions. Join the run to win a prize!
Join our workshop
First of all, on 8 March, International Women’s Day, you can join the Europeana Foundation and Paris Collage Collective at Espace Canopy for a meet and greet and collage-making workshop.
Women's accomplishments and contributions to society are often overlooked and it can be challenging to find material related to women's history in cultural heritage collections. In this workshop, you'll showcase women from history through collage art.
The event runs from 14:00-18:00, with the workshop taking place at 15:00-17:00 and time to socialise and have some snacks both before and after!
If you can’t join in person, join the online prompt challenge that is running until 8 March. Late submissions will still be accepted!
